Guided Burren Walks
Enjoy 3-4 hours exploring the beautiful Burren region with Shane Connolly, an experienced guide and walking leader. Shane enjoys good conversation and a laugh with all his groups and his interests include placenames, stone wall construction and folklore.
The Burren tour starts in Ballyvaughan and is an ideal introduction to the Geology, Natural History, Botany, Archaeology, Agriculture and Conservation of the Burren in Clare.
Most Burren Flora and many Archeaeological Sites are encountered on the routes which take the walker to the heart of the Burren within a short period of time.
Most tours can be completed by all age groups. It is strongly advised that all walkers wear suitable walking shoes/boots and rain gear.
