Childrens Activites at the Hotel

We have a dedicated children’s pool within the Aqua & Fitness Club. Or enjoy our 20m Swimming Pool, great for older children and family swimming. Children have access to the pool from 9am–7pm daily.

Woodland Walks, explore the hotel’s 50 acres of grounds, with riverside and woodland paths.

Explore the Cascades, the River Inagh and Cascades are right beside the hotel and make a great little adventure for children.

Wildlife spotting, why not look out for birds, butterflies, bees and other wildlife around the grounds, and our resident donkeys are always around to keep little ones smiling.

Family games, please ask at reception we have a selection of board games for all ages to enjoy.

Children’s Afternoon Tea, a special children's afternoon tea is available with a choice of smoothie, hot chocolate or tea. Please book 24 hours in advance at reception.

1. Ennistymon Town & Shops – 2 mins walk
   Cafés, shops and a chance to explore the town. Explore the town with the Wonder Wander Walking Trail a self-guided, 1.5-kilometer architectural heritage walk showcasing the town’s-built history, maps available at reception.
2. Lahinch Playground – 7–10 mins drive
   Great for younger children.
3. Lahinch Beach – 7–10 mins drive
   Beach walks, sandcastles, paddling and surfing.
4. Lahinch Surf School / Surfing – 7–10 mins drive
   Ideal for older children and teenagers.  Archery and indoor climbing also available at Bens Surf Clinic
5. St. Tola Goat Farm – 10–15 mins drive
   A fun farm experience for children. St. Tola Goat Cheese Farm
6. Doonagore Castle – 15–17 mins drive
   A quick stop for exploring and photographs.
7. Doolin Cliff Walks – 17 mins drive
   Best suited to older children and families who enjoy walking.

   Particularly good for younger children, with animals and family activities.
9. Cliffs of Moher Experience – 18–20 mins drive
   One of the area's main family attractions.
10. Doolin Cave – 18–20 mins drive
    A particularly good option for a wet day
11. Aillwee Burren Experience  – around 25 mins drive
    Spectacular show caves, Birds of Prey displays and farm shop.
12. Caherconnell Stone fort and Sheepdog Demonstrations – 25-30mins drive. Explore an ancient stone fort and enjoy an exciting live sheepdog demonstration.

·         Falls Hotel Pool – pop down to level one and enjoy a swim in the kids pool or 20metre family pool.

·         Doolin Cave – Venture underground to see the spectacular stalactite — perfect for wet weather

·         Aillwee Burren Experience – Explore the caves and visit the Birds of Prey Centre.

·         Burren Visitor Centre, Kilfenora – Indoor exhibitions, films and a café introducing visitors to the Burren.

·         Moher Hill Open Farm – Animals, indoor play areas and family activities, making it a good option when the weather turns.

·         Ennistymon Town – Browse the independent shops, galleries and cafés, with the Cascades nearby.

·         Burren Smokehouse – Salmon Experience – Discover the story of Irish salmon and the Salmon of Knowledge, see how traditional smoked salmon is made, enjoy interactive displays and finish with a tasting.

·         Caherconnell Stone Fort & Sheepdog Demonstrations – Explore the ancient fort and watch working sheepdogs in action; better on a showery rather than torrential day.
