Folklore, traditional cures and modern medicinal uses will be woven into the tale of each wild herb and flower, bringing them to life whilst also glimpsing insights into traditional Irish culture.

Nordic Walking with Joanne & TonNordic Fitness Ireland

Nordic Fitness Ireland provide courses in learning to walk using Nordic poles. Joanne & Tony are both qualified instructors in Nordic & Fitness Walking and have a comprehensive knowledge of the local area. Nordic Walking was originally designed as a summer training routine for cross-country skiers.  It is based on using specially designed walking poles that use the upper body to propel you forward as you walk turning your walk into whole-body exercise. It can be enjoyed at many levels, from walking for health and leisure to athletic Nordic running. Their Nordic Walking experiences provide the opportunity to embrace the fabulous Clare countryside whilst learning a new skill
